Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Systems Administrator 3 to support the OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role focuses on Linux and Windows administration, performance optimization, and user support.

Responsibilities include building and troubleshooting, enforcing DISA STIGs, managing Kubernetes and cloud resources, and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with six years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience administering Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows.
• Experience with patching, virtual server builds, and security requirements derivation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash; familiarity with Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, installations, configurations, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Enforce DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts for patching, configuration, and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide service desk coverage between 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday, on a rotational basis.
