Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support the OSINT Integration Center on the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role focuses on Linux/Windows administration, performance optimization, and user support from an on-site Bethesda, MD location.

Responsibilities include builds, patching, STI/ DISA STIG compliance, Kubernetes/Rancher/Helm deployment, and cloud management in AWS. Candidates must hold TS/SCI clearance and a related degree with 3+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of experience in the category field. Two additional years of experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
• Expertise in Linux systems administration, including RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu.
• Experience with patching and virtual server builds.
• Familiarity with Agile project management and security requirements derivation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience working in air-gapped environments.
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification by the Government.

• Provide service desk coverage between 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday, on a rotational basis.

Position Summary

• Experience with Active Directory in a Linux environment.
• Background maintaining AI/ML environments and large data storage solutions.
