VetRamp is seeking a System Administrator – Level III in Washington, DC, to deploy, sustain and troubleshoot server OSs and related infrastructure. This role ensures security, availability and integrity of platforms, performing backups, monitoring, capacity analysis and documenting procedures.

Minimum education is a Bachelor's degree with a requirement for DoD 8570.01-M certification and SECRET level consideration. The position may involve independent tasks and supervisory duties as needed.

Formación

• Six (6) years of progressive experience in system administration.
• Certifications: IAT II; DoD 8570.01-M requirement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalency.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot server operating systems and related infrastructure software/hardware.
• Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms.
• Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems.
• Create SOPs, maintenance guides and knowledge base articles for operations.
• Maintain infrastructure security posture and perform upgrades as needed.
• May assist architecture/engineering with evaluation, testing and recommendations of infrastructure hardware/software.

Title: System Administrator – Level III

Investigation Required: Tier 3 (Secret Clearance)

Certifications: IAT II (Please see Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement); CE: Professional level certification for supported technology as approved by the COR.

Experience: Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.

Responsibility: Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms. Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems. Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms. Performs infrastructure platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained. May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of infrastructure hardware and software products. Level III performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level II, and may supervise others.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
