Job summary

SafeTouch Security is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Jacksonville, FL. You will support users, devices, Microsoft 365, identity and access, and security across a multi-site organization, ensuring reliable operations and secure systems.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity, you will manage onboarding/offboarding, licensing, backups, and incident response, while collaborating with MSPs and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on systems administration or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management, security groups, conditional access, MFA, endpoint management, patching, and access controls.
• Working knowledge of networking, servers, endpoint protection, backups, and security tools.
• Experience supporting a multi-site or distributed organization.

Responsibilities

• Support users, devices, Microsoft 365, email, applications, and IT environments across corporate, branch, and field locations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including security groups, MFA, conditional access, licensing, and user access.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, software, printers, and endpoint environments.
• Support Intune, Defender, Windows environments, servers, networking, VPN, firewalls, backups, monitoring, and connectivity.
• Monitor system health, backups, patching, endpoint protection, capacity, performance, and security alerts.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, account changes, access requests, and licensing through established workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, document solutions, identify recurring problems, and elevate complex or security-related issues appropriately.
• Support backup monitoring and recovery requests and maintain recovery documentation.
• Coordinate technical issues with MSPs, telecom providers, hardware/software vendors, and cybersecurity partners.
• Assist with technology purchasing, licensing, renewals, and vendor escalations.
• Help strengthen IT processes, security practices, and system reliability as the business evolves.

We’re looking for a Systems Administrator to join our IT team and take a hands‑on role supporting users, devices, Microsoft 365, identity and access, infrastructure, and cybersecurity across a growing, multi‑site organization.

Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity, you’ll help keep our systems secure, reliable, and running smoothly—while solving problems, improving processes, and supporting the technology our teams rely on every day.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on systems administration or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows environments.
• Hands‑on experience with identity and access management, security groups, conditional access, MFA, endpoint management, patching, and access controls.
• Working knowledge of networking, servers, endpoint protection, backups, and security tools.
• Experience supporting a multi‑site or distributed organization.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, organization, and follow‑through skills.
• Ability to recognize when an issue requires escalation and work effectively with internal teams and external technology partners.
• Microsoft/Azure, Network+, Security+, Cisco, or comparable certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Intune, Defender, Azure, or similar administration tools is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Additional hours and on‑call availability may occasionally be required.

Travel: Up to 10–20%.
