Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking a senior systems administrator to manage Linux servers, patch and harden systems, and design robust AWS infrastructure. You will develop and support web applications, administer MySQL databases, and partner with stakeholders to resolve performance bottlenecks.

Requires TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in systems administration, and strong PHP and database skills. This role focuses on defense and federal missions with a culture of ownership and hands-on growth.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years of systems administration experience or relevant degree.
• Strong Linux server administration and patching experience.
• Hands-on AWS design and maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of OO programming, preferably PHP.
• Solid MySQL relational database knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance.
• 5+ years of systems administration experience (or a relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field).
• Strong background in Linux server administration, including patching and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining AWS environments.
• 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience, with a strong preference for PHP.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, particularly MySQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining websites using Joomla! CMS.
