Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO), managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Systems Administrator and join our team located in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of server administration, SANS, operating systems (OS), SCCM, security operations and concepts in MS Windows and VMware operating systems. They must be able to work independently, as well as perform in a group setting, and follow directions. They must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaboration with customers and peer IT administration staff. Good written and verbal communication skills are required and must be willing to support on-call and after hours support as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

Exempt grade level(s) 29-31. Salary range: $75,013 to $130,969 per year --the specific salary offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, particularly the candidate’s relevant experience and education.
