Job summary

Scion Technology has partnered with a nonprofit exploration lab to recruit a part-time Systems & Administrative Associate. The role is fully remote anywhere in the US for a 2-to-3-month contract, focused on implementing and documenting internal systems, workflows, automations, and data processes.

You will translate existing processes into clear workflows, build integrations, clean data, and develop documentation to support long-term system maintenance. Collaboration across teams is key.

Qualifications

  • Experience with project management, systems implementation, operations, or administrative systems.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to translate complex processes into clear, repeatable workflows.
  • Experience developing process documentation or SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement automations to support administrative and operational workflows.
  • Configure integrations and workflow logic across organizational platforms.
  • Connect systems and troubleshoot automation or integration failures.
  • Map existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and ease of use.
  • Build and implement improved workflows based on organizational needs.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for key workflows, systems, and platform integrations.
  • Clean, organize, and standardize data and files across organizational systems and databases.
  • Support data imports, exports, transfers, and migrations between platforms.
  • Establish and maintain consistent naming conventions and data standards.
  • Document system configurations, processes, automations, and maintenance needs.
  • Create clear, user-friendly reference materials and step-by-step process documentation.
  • Train staff on newly implemented systems, workflows, and processes.
  • Support handoff of systems and documentation to staff responsible for ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate across teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot challenges, and support implementation.

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a dedicated Systems & Administrative Associate for our client, an innovation and experimentation lab focused on new ways of engaging Black communities. This is a part-time, 2-to-3-month contract position and is fully remote anywhere in the US.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a Systems & Administrative Associate to support the implementation and documentation of internal systems, workflows, automations, and data processes. This role will help translate existing processes into clear, functional workflows; build and troubleshoot automation and platform integrations; clean and organize data and files; and create documentation that supports long-term maintenance of organizational systems.
