Job summary

The City of Berkeley is seeking a Systems Accountant to join the Finance Department. You will help improve financial systems for the City and its customers, working closely with financial operations staff and coordinating with the Department of Information Technology to bring efficiency and innovation to software solutions and business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, management information system, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of professional accounting experience.
• Two (2) years of experience in computerized financial systems including project management related to implementation and maintenance.
