The Inter-American Development Bank invites an active graduate student to join the Risk Management Systemic Risk Research Internship in Washington, DC. Qualifications

• Active graduate student in a quantitative field (math, stats, CS, econ) with graduation after the internship.
• Fluent English; working knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, programming, and statistical modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Systemic Risk Group to develop systemic risk indicators, methodologies, and stress-testing tools.
• Conduct NLP-based quantitative text analysis to build early-warning indicators and forecasts.
• Assist in developing automated data processing and reporting solutions.
• Prepare presentations and documentation on automated solutions and key findings.
