As a key member of the Applications, Consumer Experience, Data, Digital, and Delivery Team, this role will partner with National Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Ancillary Services, CMIO, Physician Enterprise, and Division Leadership to oversee the strategy and implementation of Enterprise Application Integration & EHR testing services across CommonSpirit Health.

The leader will define, promote, and govern EAI standards foundational to Batch, HL7, FHIR, and API needs across the organization. They will manage a team responsible for numerous concurrent projects, ongoing data integration engines, EPIC Bridges / Cerner FSI, and over 10,000 active interfaces. Additionally, they will ensure compliance by working with IT peers to secure active partner contracts for all interfaces with third-party applications.

The leader will align EAI initiatives with the 10-Year IT Roadmap, including evaluating Cloud vs. On-Prem platforms.

Beyond foundational data management, the leader will establish an Enterprise Quality Management Center of Excellence to define best practices, select tools, and oversee testing for major programs. Collaboration with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, M&A, and NRES teams will be essential for standardizing testing processes and tools.

The team will play a pivotal role in the testing and deployment of One EHR (Epic Gold program), overseeing all testing streams and coordinating efforts to ensure successful go-lives. Responsibilities include onsite testing, Technical Dress Rehearsal, and providing “At the Elbow” support during EHR implementations. The team will also develop dashboards for status updates to leadership.

  9. Vendor & Risk Management: Oversee vendor relationships and implement cybersecurity and disaster recovery plans.

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in leadership roles, 15+ years in healthcare IT, Product Management, or related fields.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for healthcare enterprise applications, integration, and architecture services.
