Job Title: Validation Engineer - Specialized

Duration: 12+ months

Description:

• In this role, the Engineer will be part of a highly technical team that develops test plans, completes functional & electrical validation, & debugs issues for new processor silicon interface features with a strong focus on power and performance attainment and optimization.
• We are looking for an Engineer with experience in power or performance attainment of CPU, GPU, or APU features. This person should thrive in a matrixed environment spanning multiple countries and time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans in collaboration with architects, firmware, and IP-specific engineering teams to ensure products meet or exceed performance targets.
• Execute power and performance studies to support business development.
• Validate and tune product features post-silicon.
• Set up and debug systems under test.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs, GPUs, or APUs.
• Familiarity with graphics, core, and gaming-focused workloads.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and thermal equipment.
• Experience analyzing and presenting data using Power BI, Sigma, or similar tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multi-site technical organization.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of related experience; or Master's plus at least 5 years of directly related experience (an advanced degree is a plus).
