Jenoptik seeks an entry-level System Test Technician I to assist with testing lens assemblies including interferometric, MTF and transmission tests. You will document results and follow 5S/LEAN standards, under supervision of Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
You will learn and apply measurement techniques for aspheric surfaces, maintain lab cleanliness, and support test cycles across the team. This role offers training and opportunities to grow in a photonics environment in the United States.

The role of System Test Technician I is to utilize basic skills and on-the-job training to test various lens assemblies and report test results to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the technician to uphold our testing standards to that which matches Jenoptik’s Quality Policy .
This is an entry level position – training will be supplied on all system testing.
