Job summary

Jobot is seeking a System Test Engineer to join our Test & Integration team in Columbia, MD. You will develop and execute system-level tests for VoIP, telecom, and ATM-related hardware/software, working hands-on with test equipment and collaborating with engineers and customers. Hybrid schedule with onsite and remote work options.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of testing experience in mission-critical environments, strong troubleshooting skills, and a BS in IT/CS/EE or equivalent. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on hardware and system-level testing in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with VoIP, T1/ISDN, POTS, and timing/telecom networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute system-level test procedures for hardware and software.
• Perform functional, performance, security, and integration testing.
• Document defects and maintain traceability across test artifacts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers on test plans and results.
• Support customer acceptance testing and test environment management.
