Job summary

Maximus is hiring a System Test Engineer to support USAF mission-critical testing from a remote location with TS/SCI clearance. The role emphasizes analysis, test planning, and development of procedures for manual and automated testing across unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end levels.

An active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, a Bachelor's degree, and 5 years of testing experience are required. Some travel (10–20%) may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
• Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.

• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

The System Test Engineer provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing test documents, developing procedures, performing various types of manual and automated software testing including, but not limited to, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing. Shall perform other technical and/or test-related duties as required.

This role is remote and requires a TS/SCI clearance.
