Job summary

Maximus is seeking a System Test Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for USAF missions. The role focuses on analytical support for process improvement, requirements definition, and various testing types, including automated approaches.

This position is remote and requires TS/SCI clearance, with occasional travel. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (Master’s may substitute for 2 years) and 5+ years of test experience, including RESTful interfaces, cloud environments, and Jira

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.
3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.

Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

Analyze, plan, develop test documents, and procedures.
Perform manual and automated testing including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
Support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
Shall perform other technical and/or test-related duties as required.
