Job summary

Fairchild Communication Systems, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Full-Time System Technician to install, repair and maintain a variety of technology systems on-site. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, follow safety standards, and communicate effectively with project managers.

A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background and drug screening are required. Experience with end users and basic computer proficiency are valued; we offer competitive salary,

If you excel in a hands‑on environment and possess the ability to work with a variety of technology systems, this is the position for you.

Duties Include

• Install, repair and maintain a variety of technology systems, including fire alarm, nurse call, security/intrusion, sound systems and more
• Maintain clear and timely communication with Project Manager and Project Administrator
• Provide accurate records of time, tasks and project status on a daily basis
• Read and interpret blueprints and other project documents
• Adhere to industry quality and safety standards and regulations

Preferred Candidate Will Have

• High degree of self-discipline, motivation and is results and success–driven
• Experience working with end users
• Proficient with a computer
