Job summary

Fairchild Communication Systems, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Full-Time System Technician to install, repair and maintain a variety of technology systems on-site. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, follow safety standards, and communicate effectively with project managers.

A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background and drug screening are required. Experience with end users and basic computer proficiency are valued; we offer competitive salary,

Qualifications

Experience working with end users.
Proficient with a computer.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers and team members.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving history.
Must pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain a variety of technology systems, including fire alarm, nurse call, security/intrusion, sound systems and more.
Maintain clear and timely communication with Project Manager and Project Administrator.
Provide accurate records of time, tasks and project status on a daily basis.
Read and interpret blueprints and other project documents.
Adhere to industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
