Our Field Operations team maintains facilities and installs/repairs broadband systems in assigned neighborhoods, providing a hands-on work environment outside of an office setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and repair HFC network issues
• Test, balance, and align signal components and equipment
• Maintain and repair power supplies
• Splice and activate fiber optic cables and equipment
• Assist in training activities
• Perform emergency fiber restoration
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Report non-compliance incidents
• Ensure system security
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior
• Maintain attendance and vehicle/equipment standards
• Identify and repair signal leaks
• Conduct plant surveys
• Perform other duties, including cross-functional tasks

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate technical info to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency with measuring devices and test equipment
• Organizational and record-keeping skills
• Customer concern handling
• Ability to read maps and system prints
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Valid driver’s license with a good record

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of electronics and HFC networks preferred, with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent training.

Computer Skills:

Basic internet and email skills required.
