Job summary

Fellow in Vilnius, Lithuania is hiring a System Technical Program Manager to lead a new engineering program from concept to mass production. You’ll coordinate between engineering, operations, product, and partners, identifying risks and delivering on schedule and quality targets.

The role requires in-office presence in Vilnius and regular calls with teams in San Francisco and China, with up to 15% travel. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Technical Program Management based in Fellow’s SF HQ.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in program management and/or engineering in electro-mechanical products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Direct experience working with ME/EE/FW engineering, system test, quality and manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, with attention to detail.
  • Hands on experience with hardware development using external suppliers.
  • Some experience managing FW/SW development (Agile, sprint planning, etc)
  • Experience managing Regulatory Compliance efforts (strong preference for consumer AC mains powered devices)
  • New product introduction (NPI) experience in CM and JDM models
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements for technology integration
  • Proficient at creating and tracking complex and rapid development schedules, managing issues, and tracking bugs
  • Exposure to system/device development, build and planning
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs efficiently
  • You are a curious problem solver that enjoys bringing teams together

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Develop and manage program plans, including scope, schedule, resources, budget, and quality.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between PD, EE, FW, Test, Product Management, Quality, Marketing and Ops and external partners.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance ensuring engineering solutions meet project goals and PRD.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Resource and Quality Management: Allocate resources, manage workloads, coordinate testing and validation.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Change Management: Report progress, manage scope changes, and align stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring and Leadership: Track KPIs, lead teams and foster a positive environment.
  • Post-Project Review: Conduct reviews and incorporate lessons learned.
