Job summary

Valeo is seeking a qualified professional to manage quality in the System and Software scope for projects. You will define quality targets, create and maintain the QA plan, and monitor progress with the project team and Q-PTM to achieve customer and Valeo targets.

You will conduct product and process audits, prepare milestone audits, assess risks, track issues to closure, and escalate roadblocks to management.

Responsibilities

• Define System & Software Quality Targets and maintain the Project Quality Assurance plan with the Project Team and Q-PTM to meet customer and Valeo quality and cost targets.
• Conduct Product & Process audits as defined in the Project Quality Assurance Plan.
• Perform System & Software Milestone Preparation Audits.
• Ensure risks are assessed and managed, track issues to closure, and escalate roadblocks to management.
• Report quality indicators and GGRs for the project and own the System & Software Quality section of the project dashboard.
• Approve process tailoring vs GSMART Part 1 and 2 within System & Software scope and assess compliance with Group Golden Rules.
• Support internal (GAMA) and OEM ASPICE project assessments and provide coaching on quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to Design Reviews, ensure Change Control Boards are performed per process.
• Assist with supplier management: define requirements for external System & Software suppliers, perform supplier audits, and participate in acceptance reviews.
• Prepare and support customer communication about System & Software Quality status, conduct Release Readiness Audits, and verify deliveries align with project milestones.
• Participate in Project QRQC, ensure QRQC rules are applied, report issues in the QRQC red box, and support problem solving and lessons learned.
