Job summary

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Dallas, TX seeks a senior software engineer with a BS in CS/CE and 8 years of government IT project experience. You will design, modify, and maintain software, develop complex SQL queries, and support Water Quality information systems in a government setting.

Proficiency in ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML/CSS, Java and Tomcat, plus experience with SDWIS/WQX/SWIFT/DW-SFTIES and ticketing/Office tools is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field; year-for-year experience may substitute for degree.
• 8 years’ experience on government IT projects as a software developer/engineer.
• 8 years’ experience building and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
• 3 years’ experience supporting Water Quality/Safety Information Systems, preferably in government settings.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience implementing and supporting EPA-related water info systems and related tools.

Job description

A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field and experience in computer software development, modification, and maintenance. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.

8 years’ experience with government IT projects as a software developer, software engineer or related field

8 years’ experience in building and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures

3 years’ experience supporting Water Quality/Safety Information Systems, preferably in a government setting

Working knowledge of ASP.NET , .NET, and C#, HTML, and CSS

Preferred Skills:

Experience implementing, configuring and supporting SDWIS, Water Quality Exchange (WQX), SWIFT, and DW–SFTIES

Experience with Apache Tomcat and Java

Experience working/collaborating with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Experience using service/help desk ticket platforms and Microsoft Office products.
