Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) invites applications for a System Software Integrator in Manassas, VA to help architect, develop and test a next‑generation system.

The project includes secure high‑availability cloud storage, orchestration solutions, advanced networking and edge devices, with system integration test and customer delivery in scope. You will work with a small agile team to prototype a cloud‑based Linux system, evaluate new technologies, and integrate FOSS, COTS and internally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience; 3+ years professional experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team setting.
• Willingness to work overtime to support business needs.
• Experience in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical engagements and presentations with technical leads.
• Work with a small to medium-sized agile team.
• Prototype a cloud-based Linux system supporting multiple application footprints.
• Rapid evaluation of technology viability to technical leads.
• Integrate FOSS, COTS and internally developed applications (70%).
