Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Software Developer to support architecture, development and testing of a next generation system, including secure HA cloud storage, orchestration, edge devices and system management.

You will prototype a web-based Linux system and work in an agile team to rapidly evaluate technologies, leveraging Bash, Python and Ansible, with containerization and Linux expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus related experience.
• DoD Secret clearance eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Bash, Python and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and integrate a web-based Linux system with Kubernetes-based orchestration.
• Develop, test and troubleshoot software using Python and Ansible in an agile team.
• Support architecture, development and testing of a secure, high-availability system.
• Collaborate with technical leads and ensure rapid evaluation of new technologies.

We are looking for an energetic, forwarding thinking computer program engineer to support the architecture, development and testing of a next generation system. This system includes concepts such as secure High Availability (HA) cloud-based storage and orchestration solutions, advanced networking solutions, edge devices, and system management. Develops, implements, and test custom software program applications. The candidate will be an experienced and energetic problem solver withattention to detail, interest in process improvement, and great communication skills. You should be a self-starter, quick-learner, and motivated SW engineer who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Software Developer Duties May Include

• Technical engagements and presentations with technical leads.
• Working with a small to medium-sized agile team.

Software Developer Required Tasks

Software Developer Additional Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
