Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a System Software Integrator to support architecture, development and testing of a next-generation system with HA cloud-based storage, orchestration solutions, edge devices and system management.

You will prototype a cloud-based Linux system, evaluate new technologies, and integrate FOSS, COTS and internally developed applications within a small agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of professional experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and off shift when dictated to support business needs.
• Task driven with ability to work independently.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships with the team members which fosters team success.
• Must have or be able to obtain and keep a DoD SECRET security clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Technical engagements and presentations with technical leads.
• Working with a small to medium-sized agile team.
• Prototyping a cloud-based Linux system that supports a variety of application footprints.
• Rapid evaluation of technology viability to technical leads.
• 70% of the position is integrating FOSS, COTS and internally developed applications
