Intel is seeking a System Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ to design, develop, and optimize software across firmware, drivers, OS, and middleware. You will work on AI, cloud, graphics, security, and virtualization technologies, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver robust software and validate its quality.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a STEM field and relevant practical experience, with on-site work four days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience requirements include 0.5–3 years depending on degree.
• Ability to design, develop, validate, and optimize software across multiple layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, validate, and debug software solutions across multiple layers of the software stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to understand requirements and deliver innovative software solutions.
• Optimize software performance, reliability, and scalability for Intel platforms and hardware features.
• Create comprehensive validation plans, test methodologies, and automation scripts to ensure software functionality and quality.
• Analyze validation results, debug software failures, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical issues.
• Develop reference software platforms and solutions to maximize value and showcase Intel product capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices throughout development processes.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and provide systematic solutions to enhance stability and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
• Support software integration, testing, and validation activities from presilicon development through postsilicon deployment.
• Create and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.
