Intel Corporation is seeking a System Software Engineer to design, develop and optimize software across firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, and applications to enable Intel hardware features.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, validate, and debug software solutions across multiple layers of the software stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Optimize software performance, reliability, and scalability for Intel platforms and hardware features.
• Create validation plans, test methodologies, and automation scripts to ensure software functionality and quality.
• Analyze validation results, debug software issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Produce reference software platforms to showcase Intel product capabilities and maintain coding standards.
