Qualifications

• Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
• Certification CSP or PE is desirable; safety engineering credentials preferred.
• Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or related safety discipline experience.
• Professional registration in engineering or safety fields may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach SFTY 426 – System Safety Management in person at the Portland, OR campus.
• Provide evidence of stated qualifications, including transcripts and certifications.
• Contribute to student learning through applied safety management concepts.
