Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a System Safety Engineering Manager (Level K) for Boeing Global Services Safety in the BGS-G portfolio. You will lead the safety team across government programs and sustainment efforts, driving safety strategies, risk reduction, and cross‑functional collaboration with defense platforms like F/A-18, F-15, F-22, C-17, AH-64, CH-47, KC-135, KC-46.

Your leadership will shape safety initiatives across fleets, fleets modernization, and training while aligning with

Qualifications

Minimum one year in a leadership role or equivalent Boeing leadership training.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field or equivalent.
Experience performing system safety tasks per MIL-STD-882 / ARP4761.

Responsibilities

Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct report personnel.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
