Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in System Safety, Software Safety, Systems Engineering, or another safety-critical engineering environment.
- Experience with MIL-STD-882/882E preferred.
- Experience with related standards such as DO-178/DO-178B, DO-254, ARP4761, ISO 26262, AOP-52, or similar safety standards is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform system and/or software safety analyses and assessments.
- Identify potential hazards and evaluate associated technical risks.
- Develop and evaluate risk mitigation strategies.
- Review system and software requirements for safety considerations.
- Support requirements development, verification, and engineering reviews.
- Prepare and present technical analyses and safety documentation.
