A leading energy provider is seeking System Protection Interns for Summer 2026 in Charlottesville, Virginia. This internship offers hands-on experience in electric transmission and distribution. Interns will collaborate with technicians on substation electrical equipment and diagnostic testing. Candidates must be pursuing a relevant technology degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Qualifications

• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and having manual dexterity.
• Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or later.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical design drawings.
• Assist with infrared scans and basic instrument checkout.
• Participate in high-voltage diagnostic testing.
