Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a System Product Manager for AI Data Centers to be the voice of the customer and define next-gen cooling and power solutions for AI workloads. You will work with hyperscale and co-location customers to translate market needs into winning system-level products.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and commercialization teams, own the system architecture roadmap, and ensure alignment with sustainability commitments while delivering value to mission-critical customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field; MBA is a plus.
• 7–10 years of product management experience or relevant experiences.
• Experience in system product management, technical marketing, or system architecture.
• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and AI/ML workloads.
• Excellent communication skills in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to translate technical features into customer value.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the VoC process for the AI data center segment.
• Define system-level requirements and multi-generational roadmaps for AI applications and system architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize architectures for AI workloads from 20MW to 1GW.
• Analyze market sizing, framing, and competitive positioning within the AI data center ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain a system product roadmap aligned with business strategy, customer needs, and technical capabilities.
• Own the unified system architecture roadmap with system lead engineers and product/engineering teams.
• Serve as the primary conduit for customer feedback into the product roadmap.
• Define success criteria and value proposition; coordinate with commercialization for launches.
• Engage directly with key customers and partners to align technology roadmaps.
