Job summary

Innova seeks a System Pharmacy Charge & Compliance Analyst to bridge pharmacy operations with billing, compliance, and revenue cycle for a Sacramento hospital system. The role focuses on medication charge capture, 340B compliance, and regulatory auditing across outpatient services.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in inpatient pharmacy with IV compounding, plus Epic Resolute/Willow/Beacon experience. On-site in Sacramento, CA; contract 3–6 months; CA/OR/HI licenses and CHRI/CRCR credentials

Qualifications

Now Hiring: System Pharmacy Charge & Compliance Analyst - Epic Environment | Sacramento, CA ?

We're partnering with a hospital system in Sacramento, CA that needs a pharmacy charge & compliance analyst to ensure medication billing accuracy and regulatory compliance across outpatient departments - including observation, ED, outpatient surgery, and infusion clinics.

Location: Sacramento, CA (on-site)

Contract: 3-6 months

Focus: Medication Charge Capture / Revenue Integrity / 340B Compliance

This isn't a generic pharmacy tech role - we're looking for candidates who bridge pharmacy operations with billing, compliance, and revenue cycle:

• 3-5+ years in inpatient pharmacy with strong IV compounding background
• Pharmacy procurement/buyer experience (inpatient or infusion setting)
• 340B program audit and GPO/WAC pricing compliance experience
• Deep familiarity with NDC-to-HCPCS mapping, billable units, and JW/JZ waste modifiers
• Understanding of CDM (Charge Description Master) / ERx maintenance and UB-04 claims
• Epic experience across Resolute (HB), Willow IP, and Beacon strongly preferred

You’ll validate charges, resolve denials tied to outpatient drug billing, support CMS/HRSA/payer audits, and serve as the pharmacy SME during EMR build and workflow changes.

Preferred credentials: State Pharmacy Technician license (CA, OR, and/or HI), Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification, and advanced certifications such as CHRI, CRCR, or 340B ACE.
