Responsibilities
- Ensure the launch vehicle, ground equipment, and personnel are readied for all phases of the New Glenn mission including build, test, pre‑launch, boost, orbital operations landing, and recovery.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for all design, test, software, operations, and refurbishment artifacts.
- Provide real‑time on‑console support for integrated tests, launch and recovery operations providing crucial troubleshooting support.
- Assess, identify and support fixes to gaps in system operational timeline.
- Understand how subsystem control software operates across flight and ground systems to ensure safety and mission success.
- Author operations documents that define product testing requirements, operations lifecycle, maintenance requirements, and critical performance/requirements interfaces across the system.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and appropriate integration of operating requirements into procedures, scripts, and displays used during vehicle operations.
- Provide program support to the chief engineer office for delegated engineering change requests, design review actions, technical readiness reviews, performance metrics/assessment and technical risk management.
- Provide operational feedback to subsystem designers and support operational analysis.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
- 2+ Years of experience in Aerospace or large scale processing systems.
Other Requirements
- Experience with system engineering principles.
- Experience in at least one of the areas of analysis, design, or integrated testing.
- Experience in at least one of focused subject area of fluids, mechanical hardware, thermal, propulsion, avionics or electrical hardware and/or software, telemetry/communications, structures, ground operations or flight/ground autonomy.
Desired Qualifications
- System development/integration experience – preferably with aerospace systems.
- Experience with flight systems.
- Knowledge of current systems/project engineering and integration tools and methodologies.
- Experience in facilities construction and renovation projects.
- Experience with large scale mechanical system design / operations.

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre‑employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical.
