This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy‑lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low‑Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human‑capable.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, engineers, you will oversee the development of hardware and autonomous software components, support integrated development testing, and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the subsystem’s flight vehicle operations for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of the New Glenn System—spanning CONOPS, functional architecture, components, software, and system‑level interactions. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

  • Provide real‑time on‑console support for integrated tests, launch and recovery operations providing crucial troubleshooting support.
  • Assess, identify and support fixes to gaps in system operational timeline.
  • Understand how subsystem control software operates across flight and ground systems to ensure safety and mission success.
  • Author operations documents that define product testing requirements, operations lifecycle, maintenance requirements, and critical performance/requirements interfaces across the system.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and appropriate integration of operating requirements into procedures, scripts, and displays used during vehicle operations.
  • Provide program support to the chief engineer office for delegated engineering change requests, design review actions, technical readiness reviews, performance metrics/assessment and technical risk management.
  • Provide operational feedback to subsystem designers and support operational analysis.
