Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a System Medical Director of Endoscopy to provide visionary clinical and administrative leadership across inpatient and ambulatory endoscopy units. The role partners with GI Labs leadership to advance patient care, safety, and operational excellence.

Salary is based on experience, with a range of $500,000–$750,000 annually, reflecting FTE, credentials, and performance metrics within a national physician-led service line.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school.
• Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
• Board certification/Board eligible in Endoscopic Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical services provided to endoscopy patients and supports lab leadership.
• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and best practices in line with medical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Leads quality and safety initiatives including QAPI programs and infection control.
• Collaborates with GI Labs leadership to craft system-wide strategy and facilities planning for endoscopy.
• Ensures credentialing and privileging processes are followed for endoscopy physicians.
• Mentors staff physicians, fellows, nurses, and technicians.
• Defines patient experience standards for endoscopic care as a brand ambassador.
• Monitors performance indicators and leads improvements in quality and throughput.
