Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a System-Level Test (SLT) Engineer to ensure silicon behaves predictably under real workloads. You will build software and system infrastructure to run validation tests in manufacturing, while applying structured debug to separate hardware issues from software and environmental effects.

This hybrid role is based out of Austin, TX; Santa Clara, CA; or Fort Collins, CO, and welcomes candidates at various experience levels. Compensation ranges widely with level and location.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in system-level test, embedded systems, software architecture, or hardware/software integration.
• Strong skills in C/C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Ability to apply object-oriented design to build modular, maintainable test frameworks and abstraction layers.

Responsibilities

• Develop the test execution framework that hosts validation-provided tests in SLT environments deployed to OSAT production.
• Build wrappers, harnesses, and abstraction layers that ensure deterministic execution and robust configuration control.
• Integrate functional, stress, and diagnostic tests into SLT platforms for high-volume manufacturing with clear pass/fail criteria.
• Create logging, telemetry, failure-signature, and automated-triage capabilities; drive cross-domain issues to the right teams.
