Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking an Interconnect and Compute Architect to define and build next-generation CPU networking architecture for datacenter and robotics/automotive applications. The role focuses on datacenter networking with robotics and automotive targets as the first expansion, and is remote from North America.

The candidate should blend forwarding, buffering, modeling, and RTL design to drive architectural decisions and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ethernet network architecture and how performance is modeled.
• Experience with die-to-die interfaces and related protocols and tradeoffs.
• Experience with datacenter scale architectures like UALink, NVLink, and Broadcom SUE.
• Experience with scale-out RDMA protocols such as RoCE and InfiniBand.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to both datacenter networking architecture and future robotics/automotive targets.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to refine networking requirements.
• Guide architectural decisions at the intersection of forwarding, buffering, modeling and RTL design.
