Exceptional Healthcare (EHC) is hiring a Chief Medical Officer to lead physician quality, safety, and performance across its nine hospitals. The CMO reports to the CEO and sits on the executive team.

The position is onsite at our Dallas corporate office with regular travel to EHC hospitals across five states. You will guide clinical standards, partner with executive leadership, regulators, payers, and community partners to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient care.

Formación

• MD or DO, board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• 8+ years of Emergency Medicine practice.
• Prior administrative leadership with direct responsibility for physicians, quality programs, and budget.
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license, or eligible for licensure.
• Proven results improving quality, throughput, or physician engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee medical staff affairs: credentialing, privileging, peer review, and physician performance evaluation across all nine hospitals.
• Drive quality and patient safety, including outcome tracking, regulatory and survey readiness, and corrective actions.
• Improve ER and acute care performance: door-to-provider time, LWBS, transfers, and length of stay with site-specific targets.
• Lead physician recruitment, engagement, and retention with medical director accountability at each hospital.
• Partner with CNO, operations, and finance on staffing, service lines, and cost of care.
• Represent clinical leadership with regulators, payers, and community partners.
