Job summary

SAIC is seeking a System Integration Associate to support fabrication of production components and assist in fleet installation in Panama City Beach, Florida. The role involves maintaining certifications, following quality standards, and using various tools for precise manufacturing.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Skills in welding, machining, and the use of hand and power tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must possess an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret.

Responsibilities

• Support fabrication of production components including welding and basic machining.
• Maintain welding certifications and acquire new certifications as needed.
• Determine and follow methods in performing wiring and assembly.
• Make setups and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
• Interpret drawings and use machinist's tools.

Skills

Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings

Experience with basic hand and power tools

Work independently or with little supervision

Use mills, lathes, brakes for fabrication

Welding both in shop and in field per drawings

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Tools

Basic hand tools
