UPMC System Float Team is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Medical Surgical expertise for internal travel staffing across Pennsylvania, New York, and Western Maryland. This full-time, permanent role offers guaranteed hours, a competitive hourly rate, and travel incentives within the UPMC system.
As a UPMC System Float Nurse, you will rotate to a new facility approximately every six weeks, expanding your clinical skills and professional network while meeting operational needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of nursing experience required.
- Relevant Medical Surgical experience required.
- BLS/CPR is required; NIH/NIHSS within 60 days of hire.
- RN license required; PA RN license required upon hire; second state license NY or MD within six months.
Responsabilités
- Provide high-quality nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities/units.
- Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks across facilities.
- Communicate patient status with physicians and healthcare team.
- Follow hospital policies and infection control practices.
