Job summary

Sustainable Talent, in partnership with Nvidia, seeks a System Engineering Technician to maintain and optimize Colossus cloud infrastructure for reliability and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy hardware/software, perform routine maintenance, and document configurations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data centers or large engineering labs, DCIM tooling experience, and strong scripting abilities. On-call duties and hands-on lab work are required.

Qualifications

• Data center and lab infrastructure experience required.
• Proficiency with DCIM tools and scripting.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, SSL).
• Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and software components.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of infrastructure to identify issues proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and test new technologies.
• Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Handle labs/datacenters using DCIM tools, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
• Define standards in labs to keep them safe, organized, and efficient.
• Perform routine maintenance on servers, networking equipment, and storage.
