Job summary

Colovore is seeking a hands-on Data Center Operations Engineer to support daily operations in a high-density, mission-critical environment. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist in deployments, monitor infrastructure, and ensure uptime of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems, partnering with senior engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in data center or critical facilities operations, hands-on cabling, maintenance, and experience

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of data center or critical facility operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with cabling, installation, preventative maintenance, or infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with power, cooling, and IT systems in production environments.
• Experience using ticketing systems, monitoring tools, or facility management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational tasks including equipment installation, racking, cabling, labeling, and facility rounds.
• Monitor power, cooling, and IT systems; document incidents and escalate when needed.
• Provide remote hands support, including power cycling, cable tracing, and hardware swaps.
• Maintain logs, checklists, and records for audits and compliance.
