Responsibilities include cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DoD systems, conducting vulnerability analyses, and evaluating security requirements. Onsite work in Linthicum Heights with no travel required.

Qualifications

System Engineer - Zero Trust - 12+ yrs of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly Required

Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a System Engineer with Zero Trust experience to join our team.

Location: Linthicum Heights, MD

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is 219K-232K (annualized USD).

Salaryis determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Capabilities

Perform cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DOD systems, utilizing an OCO (Offensive Cyber Operations) mindset to perform DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities.

• Perform long term, in depth vulnerability assessments leveraging systems engineering principals and knowledge, utilizing any available information, including architecture diagrams, build specifications, design documentation, and systems architecture
• Perform independent verification & validation of security requirements and capabilities. Incorporating systems resiliency and security engineering concepts into acquisition documents (e.g., Performance Work Statements).
• Perform technical evaluations of contractor proposals for systems resiliency, security, and cyber security considerations.
• Leverage your interpersonal skills to foster relationship development with our customers to gain additional insights, information, and documentation to improve our ability to accomplish our mission
