Job summary

VMR Strategic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior System Engineer, IV to support a TS/SCI with Polygraph cleared client at Fort Meade, MD. The role involves translating customer needs into actionable requirements for development teams and identifying and fixing issues in existing systems.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant curriculum with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in a relevant curriculum with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant curriculum with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Associates degree in a relevant curriculum with 10 years of relevant experience.
• HS/GED with 12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and the realities of commercially available IT products; create requirements for implementation by the development team.
• Identify and fix problems within existing systems; design and implement new systems and enhancements.

They would also Provide identification and fixing of problems within existing systems, designs, and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Additional responsibilities would include Participating in analysis, design, and new construction of next generation IT systems as well as Creating quality detailed design documents, test plans, implementation plans and standard operating procedures.
