Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a System Engineer to support the enhancement, sustainment, and modernization of ground-based satellite geolocation systems. The role covers the full engineering lifecycle, from requirements development through deployment, delivering software-based capabilities for critical mission operations.

Responsibilities include RF signal processing, integration of software with various hardware platforms, and deriving system requirements from stakeholder

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience as a systems engineer in medium-scale (20-100 people) or larger programs or contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) additional years of experience of systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Active Security Clearance.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Innovating RF signal processing applications.
• Facilitating the integration of new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors.
• Analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Deriving an understanding of stakeholder needs and essential system functions from system requirements.
• Developing a system design solution that satisfies system requirements.
• Participating in producing definitions of systems or components under development that provide common reference points for hardware and software developers.
