Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Software Engineer to support the enhancement, sustainment, and modernization of ground-based satellite geolocation systems. The role covers the full engineering lifecycle from requirements through deployment and involves developing software-based capabilities that advance mission operations.

The entry-level position focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems, integrating new and legacy software, and testing components.

Qualifications

• 9 years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering/Administration or related field.
• Active Security Clearance
• Proficiency working in Linux development environments
• Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., analytics, algorithms, large data, real-time systems, business systems)
• Integrate new and legacy software across hardware form factors and review/test components against design requirements
• Provide input on software components of system design, including trade-offs and reuse, and analyze requirements from system level to components
