Job summary

ACME IT Corp. is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to lead design and engineering efforts across cloud-native and hybrid cloud environments in Maryland.

The role requires deep expertise in multi-cloud architectures, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, with emphasis on secure Zero Trust implementations and advanced troubleshooting across networks. Candidates should bring 20+ years of SE experience, with the ability to coordinate across vendors and internal teams to deliver resilient IT

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of Systems Engineering experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

• Implement global resilient, nextGEN cloud-native frameworks and hybrid cloud models using containerization/orchestration and function-based technologies.
• Possess advanced cloud-based network troubleshooting capabilities.
• Design and implement Zero Trust security posture.
• Ability to work with and deploy DEVOPS, DEVSECOPS and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab within orchestration or other cloud fabric.
• Ability to work with multiple cloud vendors and private cloud industry solutions such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure and OCI.
• Ability to work with and deploy cloud package managed systems such as YUM Repos and WSUS within the hybrid cloud framework.
