Insight Global seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Lexington, MA to support a government customer on acquisition strategies for Systems Engineering services. You will review portfolios, evaluate plans, and design tests to ensure system performance. Responsibilities include documentation, technical presentations, and program validation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience with Windows AD and domain controllers.
• Fundamental cybersecurity knowledge including network topologies and protocols.
• Experience building Windows virtual machines with ESXi/VxRail.
• Active Secret Clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Review programs to evaluate plans, improve systems engineering processes, and design tests.
• Prepare technical documents and present findings for planning and corrective action.
• Validate systems and analyze results to ensure performance meets specifications.

Job Description

An employer in the Lexington, MA area is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support/advise a government customer in forming an acquisition strategy when related to Systems Engineering services. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications.
• Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications.
• Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics. Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action using application of engineering economy principles.
• Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures. Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering systems.
• Provide system/program engineering, technical support and technical training to support programs/initiatives, including but not limited to: acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight.

Compensation:

$60/hr to $75/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience with Windows Active directory, Windows Domain Controllers, Group policies, FSMO.
• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity -network topologies, Ports and Protocols specifications, ACAS scans
• Experience with virtual machines that run applications on Windows OS- building of windows virtual machines using ESXI and/or Vxrail.
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelors Degree in the engineering field
