Job summary

Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers’ most demanding challenges. The salary associated with this position is $77,000 - $163,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline and U.S. Citizenship with TS/SCI + poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship and current TS/SCI with a poly clearance is required.
• Four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
• Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with the customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed.
• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas.
• Analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.
• Support lifecycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.

Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, customer overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed.

Required Skills: Stakeholder Requirements Definition. Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration. Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas. Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations. Analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design. Four (4) years of systems engineering experience.

Education/Certification requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline. Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and current TS/SCI with a poly clearance is required.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
