Job summary

T-Rex Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to support critical DoD/IC infrastructure at Fort Meade, MD. You will join a cross-functional team responsible for deploying and maintaining the GATEKEEPER product installations, ensuring production readiness and security compliance.

Required are TS/SCI with FSP, strong Docker/Kubernetes/AWS skills, and experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, GitLab CI/CD, and ICAM. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and ops to deliver reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud RDS in production.
• Knowledge of ICAM capabilities and cross-functional documentation.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Systems Engineer 2

Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T‑Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared

to join our dynamic team at Ft. Meade, MD in support of the Intelligence Community. The GATEKEEPER team is seeking a Systems Engineer to work with a team of developers, QA, DevOps and other system engineers to support the Software Development Lifecycle of the GATEKEEPER product. The Systems Engineer will contribute to building and managing GATEKEEPER product installations for DoD customers. The role includes collaborating with development and QA teams on system testing, validation, and performance tuning in support of production readiness, and to ensure system compliance with security best practices and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and 10 years of related experience.
• RDBMS experience (tuning, migration, optimization)Docker expertise, familiarity with Kubernetes a bonusTerraform, CloudFormation (CDK)Familiarity with Cloud technologies and platforms
• AWS Foundational Level CertificationRDS and relational database experience in the cloud
• Knowledge of ICAM Capabilities and IntegrationExperience developing and maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and support proceduresExperience collaborating cross-functionally with developers, testers, and product owners to align system behavior with business and technical requirementsMust have strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlinesExperience implementing and maintaining system monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Soft Skills: excellent oral and written communication skills-Able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts
